Hey tumblrs, I can’t remember if I already mentioned the writing contest I’m entering, but I’m putting in two poems, “China Doll” and “This iPod of Mine”, and a short story, “A Night of Counting Stars”. I’m really proud of my two poems, but I haven’t gotten any feedback on my short story. Maybe I’ll get my mom to read it. xD She said she wanted to. I’m starting on the cover letter today, but I’m not sure what format to put it in. Note or paragraph? Beats me. :(

My 18th birthday was last Sunday, the twelfth, so my older sister came over from Vancouver to visit secretly and surprised me. She tried to take a picture when I opened the door, but she couldn’t get her camera to work, which sucked, because then I had to pretend to be surprised when she finally got the picture. xD That was Saturday night, but on the Sunday, my mom and sister took me to the Empress hotel in Victoria for high tea. I brought some “Berry Berry” herbal tea as a souvenir home and it is DELICIOUS!! And get this…the tea is PINK!! The architecture in the hotel was so…beautiful. It was built about a hundred years ago, so it has really old detailing. It looks like a castle inside, and they hold weddings too! When I get married, I want to have my reception at the Empress hotel. :) And then after the reception, I’ll stay in a hotel room for a couple days and then go off to another country for vacation. xD The architecture is just so AMAZING!! I have a slight obsession with architecture right now, so…I’ll be a little weird when I mention it. :)

Well, I should probably get that cover letter done. I’ll do it in paragraph form…maybe. O.o

Okay, so maybe nobody had ideas…or I just have no followers. xD

So, I already thought up ideas for chapter three, which is good, but ending it is the problem now. :P

Well, that’s all I have to say.

Yes, I know the second chapter of my third book is the title of Nickelback’s song, but I felt it was a good title for the scenes because Jared argues with his dad over getting a car for his birthday. His dad won’t give in even though Jared’s older sister got a car for HER sixteenth birthday and he’s saying Jared can’t just “because”

Who else hates it when parents do that?

I do!

Well, I’m trying to think of how to approach the scene. Phoebe and Daiyu just finished talking about her nightmares about death and the Feleyrian Bible…how does a car have to do with fantasy? You tell me. Well, it’s mixed with fantasy, romance, drama, action/adventure, etc. My books are a whole mess of crap. xD

Well, if you have any ideas of how YOU would characters to approach each other about something like that, then let me know, please!

I am only ONE chapter away from finishing my stinkin’ second book in my stinkin’ fantasy stinkin’ series!! >O<

Ahhhh…it feels good to get that out. I changed the climax of the second book because I felt the past ideas didn’t work well. I planned for Prince Daiyu to fight this sea monster to get this healing flower for the Princess of…whatever her name is. xD I changed it, but you’d have to read the published series a few years from now to know what~ :)

The last chapter, number 30, is underways. I have a few ideas, like Jared knows about his secret powers from Feleyrian legends and all, but Christmas is coming at the end of the book. I also want Jared to meet someone important in the third entry, but I can’t tell otherwise it’ll be ruined. ;)

That’s all I have to say, except that I decided to put some of my poems into a writing contest called the ‘Claremont Review’, so if my entries win or get accepted (at least), then I’ll post the revised versions of my poems, like “The China Doll”, “Garden of Enchantment”, MAYBE “Eve”, and “This iPod of Mine”.

I am out of my lame writer’s block for like the fourth…sixth…tenth…billionth…I don’t know how many times I’ve been in it, but it’s been enough days and I was writing last night without any problemos!!! <33

Well, I’m not sure how to end the chapter, but i’llfigure that out today, hopefully. I’m so psyched for the second semester starting on Monday!! I’m on my last high school semester EVER. I only have English 12 first thing in the morning, so I have to get up early, but it’s gonna be worth it if I get the rest of the day off. xD I need to find out when yearbooks can be ordered…grade 12 is the only year where yearbooks matter. That way, I can look back on my the people I hated and all my past crushes. xD

Awkward moment…

Well, for today and tomorrow, I have NOTHING to do. I worked last night and served old people food, but that’s not the best of yesterday…I GOT MY GRAD DRESS!! It’s from a Disney Prom 2012 collection by Alfred Angelo and it’s going to be fuchsia colour. Strapless, flowy skirt, taffeta and pretty sparklies…ahhhh…

I told my older sister and she says she hates me now because she never had Disney dresses when she graduated. xD I feel sorry about that, but I GOT MY DRESS!!!! I would show a picture, but the website wouldn’t let me copy the picture and I forgot my camera when I went to the boutique. T^T

Oh well, just have to wait until my grad day comes and take pictures. ;)

OK, I know I should be posting stuff about writing, but I find that this song is inspiring to me somehow. I can’t really explain it. The message/lyrics inside is beautiful, the music is powerful, etc.
